‘Domeng’ grounds 13 domestic flights in the Philippines

Thirteen flights bound to or from Ninoy Aquino International Airport were cancelled Thursday due to bad weather brought by Tropical Depression “Domeng.”

Among those cancelled were a flight to Basco, Batanes, and its return trip, according to a public advisory issued at around 5 p.m. by the Manila International Airport Authority.

The cancelled trips were South East Asian Airlines flights DG605/605 from Manila to Basco; and DG-005 from Manila to Caticlan in Aklan.

Also cancelled were Cebu Pacific flights 5J0896/897 and 5J899/900, and Air Philippines Express flights 2P-052/071, all with Manila-Caticlan-Manila routes.

Cebu Pacific flights 5J887/888 and Philippine Airlines flight PR187/188, both with the Manila-Cotabato City-Manila routes, were also cancelled.
