British firm to make Airbus interiors in RP

A MANUFACTURER of airplane interiors has chosen the Philippines as the
site of its new $30-million factory which will produce aircraft
kitchen components, the British embassy in Manila said in a statement
on Monday.

"Out of an initial list of 32 countries, B/E Aerospace, Inc and its
Leighton-Buzzard division, B/E Aerospace UK Ltd., has chosen the
Philippines to set-up its manufacturing facility to accommodate a
multi-billion-dollar contract to manufacture galleys for the Airbus
A350XWB, one of the new generation of wide body aircraft," the embassy
said.

The operation will export its output to France and will generate 300 new jobs
